He graduated from the Faculty of Political Science of University of Belgrade (International Affairs), obtained his Master degree in European integration at the Europa-Institut, University of Saarland (Germany), and defended his PhD thesis at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade, under topic \u201cIncomplete integration as an obstacle to the political development of the European Union\u2019s Eastern Partnership\u201c. Domains of his academic interest include the European Union studies (primarily focusing on integrative processes within EU enlargement and neighborhood policies), as well as Eastern European (including SEE) contemporary politics and history. He authored several monographs and dozens of scientific articles. He is currently engaged in two international scientific projects. She graduated and earned her MSc Degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences Belgrade University (department for International Relations), while her Ph.D. got at the Faculty of Security Studies with thesis on \u201cStrategic Partnership of Russian Federation and People\u2019s Republic of China within global security context\u201d. Dr La\u0111evac also completed specialization in European studies and attended seminars on strengthening capacity of public administration, labor migrations in the Balkans, strengthening capacity of the cross-border cooperation, preparing project proposals for EU funded projects, as well the United Nations summer school about challenges to international peace and security in new millennium.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<p class=\"im_para has-medium-font-size\">She has participated in many international conferences and authored numerous scientific papers, including two monographs, editor and coeditor of several thematic and international conference proceedings. Her main research areas are contemporary international relations, focused to relations between China and Russia, the Belt and the Road Initiative as well to cooperation between China and CEEC\u2019s. At the same Faculty, he earned BA degree in International Studies (Module: International Politics) and MA degree in Political Science \u2013 Politics and Religion. He is a Secretary of the scientific journal \u201cInternational Problems\/ Me\u0111unarodni problemi\u201d. Additionally, he is working as a research assistant on the Religion and State Project (RAS), conducted by Prof. Jonathan Fox and Dr. Ariel Zellman from the Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. The main area of Milan\u2019s academic interest is the relationship between religion and politics in the modern world, with a special emphasis on the Roman Catholic Church as a transnational religious actor, ecumenical and religious-political relations in Europe, and religious identity.
